Mobile Agents For Implementing Local Computations in Graphs

چکیده
Mobile agents are a recent paradigm to facilitate the design and programming of distributed applications. However, whilst their popularity continues to grow, a uniform theory of mobile agent systems is not yet su ciently elaborated, in comparison with classical models of distributed computation. In this paper we show how to use mobile agents as an alternative model for implementing distributed local computation rules. In doing so, we approach a general and uni ed framework for local computations which is consistent with the classical theory of distributed computations based on graph relabeling systems. DALD:-Distributed-Asynchronous-Local-Decontamination Algorithm in Arbitrary Graphs
Network environments always can be invaded by intruder agents. In networks where nodes are performing some computations, intruder agents might contaminate some nodes. Therefore, problem of decontaminating a network infected by intruder agents is one of the major problems in these networks. In this paper, we present a distributed asynchronous local algorithm for decontaminating a network. In mos...
متن کاملComparative Benefits of Mobile Telephone in Selected Rural and Urban Locations of Obio/Akpor Local Government
The study comparatively identified the benefits of mobile telephone to users in selected rural and urban locations in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State, Nigeria. Stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used in selecting 60 rural and 60 urban phone users to have a total sample size of 120 respondents. Structured questionnaire was used to generate data that were analy...
متن کاملDesigning Solvable Graphs for Multiple Moving Agents
Solvable Graphs (also known as Reachable Graphs) are types of graphs that any arrangement of a specified number of agents located on the graph’s vertices can be reached from any initial arrangement through agents’ moves along the graph’s edges, while avoiding deadlocks (interceptions). In this paper, the properties of Solvable Graphs are investigated, and a new concept in multi agent moti...
متن کاملA Scheme for Implementing Ambient Calculus over an ARC Framework
Ambient Calculus can model mobile agents across administrative domains, which may be distributed over the Internet. In this paper, we discuss a scheme for supporting ambients over Anonymous Remote Computing (ARC) framework for C# over .NET. The service oriented framework supports parallel and distributed computations in presence of mobility. A scheme for representing ambients in C# is discussed...
متن کاملMobile Agent Algorithms Versus Message Passing Algorithms
The mobile agent paradigm has been developed to solve problems in dynamic and heterogeneous environment [8]. The agent model of this paper is quite general. It is based on the concepts of agents, communication links and places. An agent is an entity which executes an algorithm: it can move from place to place (with some data and its algorithm) through communication links and it can make local c...
